Rep. Watkins Wraps Up Town Hall Tour 
 
Topeka, Kansas –  Congressman Steve Watkins (KS-02) wraps up his town hall tour. Congressman Watkins issued the following statement:
"Communication is a vital component of effective representation. I approach my time in office as a service, not a career. During this service, I strive to be accessible, approachable, and always willing to listen to the thoughts and concerns of the people that I represent. I want to thank everyone who was able to attend one of my public town halls, and I appreciate their participation in our democracy."

Allen Wilson
Linn Allen

Marshall Nemaha
 
Congressman Watkins has now completed a total of twenty-four public town halls and an impressive twenty-two town halls in seven days. Congressman Watkins traveled roughly 1700 miles over the last 10 days to listen to the concerns of 2nd District Kansans. Constituents were interested in a wide variety of topics ranging from the impact USMCA would have on the Kansas economy to how Congressman Watkins’ legislation, The Rural Physicians Act, would help improve access to rural health care.
